Hot Pot features both Chinese and western pop music, both current hits and oldies too! It also has entertaining artist interviews and Chart Countdowns which includes The China Top 5 and the UK Top 5. The Chinese Artist of the Week puts popular Chinese recording stars under the spotlight, and introduces listeners to the Chinese Pop music scene.
The programme also features an interesting travel segment called 'Wish You Were Here' which highlights China's hottest tourist attractions, and WWW The Wonderful World of Websites a segment which checks out the most popular websites on the internet.
Another popular segment is 'Its Happening Live On CRI' which features entertaining live performances from both Chinese and Western pop stars.
CRI's popular Quick Quiz happens on Hot Pot every Tuesday and Thursday, and aims to test listeners general knowledge skills.

DJ Duggy who hails from Argyll in Scotland has been an English Programme Producer/Presenter for quite a few years now and really enjoys his job!
He brings to CRI a wealth of experience having previously worked in a number of high profile FM radio networks in the Asia region.
He was also a famous turntablist and club DJ before hitting the airwaves, and has released a number of popular remix albums. In 1991 he was awarded a Platinum Disc by PoyGram Records for his dance album 'The PoyGram Power Party'
When Duggy was asked what kind of music listeners can expect to hear on the Hot Pot Show, he replied "a great mix of pop music from China and around the world too".
