Paul James
host of People in the Know
Paul comes to CRI after working as a journalist for many years in the province of British Columbia, on Canada's west coast. At 193 cm's tall, Paul - or P-Jimmy to his close friends - defiantly stands out on the streets of Beijing, and has the ever-looming concern that he's going to rattle his skull off a low doorframe.

Though he's a proud Canadian, and was raised in a town of 850 people in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, he has quickly grown to love his new adopted home in Beijing, and the 13 million people in the city.

As the new host of People In the Know, Paul is very excited to be working with Lin Shaowen, the show's executive director, to create an informative and educational product. He's hoping to use his years of experience as not only a journalist, but a journalism instructor, to help keep CRI's listeners up to date on the very latest around the globe.
